What can anyone tell me about the New American Foundation?

Are they progressive, DLC or a front group for the radical right? From googling I think they're for "private savings accounts" to replace Social Security but I might be wrong. There is a book review of Roger Lowenstein's While America Aged (he's a "senior fellow" at the New American Foundation) in the Book Section of the WaPo today whose blurb says "How Pension Debts Ruined General Motors, Stopped the NYC Subways, Bankrupted San Diego, And Loom as the Next Financial Crisis". This sounds like your typical anti-Union/anti-pension bullshit you get from the DLC/right-wing radicals.

seems I heard someone talk about this, and that was the name they have changed too....that might give an insight as to why the PNAC disbanded and changed their name....different mission now, and a new way to approach what * has not been allowed to accomplish the old way (ie: in your face straight forward)...I would say it bears watching...wb
