4. Perhaps he should lie in state in the capitol
Then they can breathlessly cover the long lines of people coming to pay their respects.

Will will get to see the soldiers in dress uniform fold the flag into a tight triangle?

7. Goodbye Buffalo's rose
Goodbye Buffalo's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along the Beltway's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will

Well, I'm glad you're not in charge of deciding who gets to do what.

25. Frank Reynolds was universally disliked
And he was not a boss. Not an analyst. Just a news reader.

From what I've read about him, he was quite a prick.

And anyone who considers Wikipedia some kind of authority is terribly wanting in terms of research skills. (That's your break, honey - use real sources.)

27. Update: no flag-draped casket. No Marines in dress uniform in two rows, folding the flag into a
tight triangle.

Seems our great patriot Tim was a Chickenhawk:

I'm crushed. The internets *must* be wrong on this. He was SOOOO patriotic. And he loved war so very, very much.
