Russert, “Deliberately Misleading” Dem Shill
Maybe he was neutral in his reporting. Both sides call him a shill for the other party!

Russert, “Deliberately Misleading” Dem Shill
We realize Tim Russert only got his job at NBC because of Russert's then boss Senator Patrick Moynihan's friendship with the then head of NBC News. But Russert regularly goes beyond the call of duty to his DNC overlords.

Behold this lead into a question for GOP head, Ken Mehlman on today's (November 13th) installment of Meet The Press:

MR. RUSSERT: "On solid intelligence." And then 15 months later, the secretary of state came on this program and said this.

(Videotape, May 16, 2004):

SEC'Y POWELL: But it turned out that the sourcing was inaccurate and wrong, and in some cases, deliberately misleading. And for that, I am disappointed, and I regret it.

MR. RUSSERT: "Deliberately misleading." That's the secretary of state. So why can't Democrats now say that the administration deliberately misled the American people?

Because, Mr. Russert, you are a liar.

1. What are you hoping to accomplish by posting this?
I don't think you'll change anybody's mind who doesn't feel as you do (I'm one of them).

You may get a lot of supportive posts by those who share your views.

But what does that accomplish?

5. I know that you can't change close minded people's mind!
Just found it interesting that some on both sides called him a shill...

6. I'm not closed minded.
And even people on the SAME side don't see everything identically. We're all Dems, and look at the primary we just went through.

Thanks for your response.

2. Pssst...
JFK, for health reasons, personal reasons and for reasons of inexperience should NOT have been nominated, let alone elected, president. He was on 'roids, amphetamines, etc. The amounts horrified RFK. He was grossly indiscriminate with his sex life in a way that made him vulnerable to blackmail.

It was his baseless bravado that convinced Khrushchev to place missiles in Cuba, and to go ahead with the Bay of Pigs, etc. His inexperience really got him to screw up on foreign policy. We - and Cuba - are still paying the price for some of that.

3. That Blogger Should Be Fed to Alligators
He's the same pinhead who tried to show that Obama was lying about his great uncle helping to liberate a Nazi concentration camp - the bastard got smacked down good by a veteran who was with Obama's uncle during the event.

What a fucktard. And I use that word perhaps twice a year.

7. Why?
Why are you posting piffle from one of the Internet's biggest shitheads? What do you hope to accomplish?

9. I don't think you do. I like a lot of posters on DU thought Tim
Russert was a hard core Republican. I admit that last few months he seem to lean a litle more to the left. With all the post on DU about him I decide to search his name using shill and saw this post. I try to keep an open mind and just thought it was interesting that some of the Republicans thought he was a Demacratic party shill. First time that I have seen that website.
