Because you're fucking addicted to the TV. That's why. Try turning it off.

3. 75% of my Timmy coverage has come from DU. 25% from online "news" sources.

4. I enjoy watching the news.
I read two newspapers a day and listen to NPR most of the day. What can I say? I'm a news junkie!

My favorite source for news and opinion is MSNBC. One of their staffers died Friday, and they have spent the last three days discussing him and him alone to the exclusion of any other news coverage. I miss my news source!

Then, on top of this hijacking of my favorite news source, I have to come on DU and read a mean, nasty, idiotic post that says "know why some of you are still freaking out about the (over) coverage of Russert? Because you're fucking addicted to the TV. That's why. Try turning it off."

You're calling people who are interested in current events "fucking addicted to the TV"? Well, thanks for the insult! And thanks so much for starting my day (and week) with a nice jolt of nastiness. You must be a real joy to live with. Not!

Don't bother replying to me. I never want to see anything else you write after this stupid post, so you're on Ignore for me, for good. Buh bye.

It's just so inconvenient for those damn Iowans to be complaining about the flooding and then there's that war thing, it is cutting way into the love fest
