Great.
Our gas had gone down just a little - to $3.83. Talked to my brother in Spokane and he said theirs is about $4.09.

6. Sure they are, but the thing I think people don't get is that most people |
|
have loans on the vehicle they are now driving. If you owe more for a car than you can get for it, then it doesn't make sense to get rid of it if you can park it.
Buying a new car on debt doesn't cut you vehicle costs. Gas is just one factor.
Like this. You have an older SUV with a $500 a month loan payment and a couple of more years to pay on it. No one wants it so if you traded it in on a smaller car you would still have to pay off the loan in the price of the new car. So you will still be paying $500 or more a month plus the price of gas.

7. Well, Saturday night a Great White Whale Chevy Yukon was idling with the AC on.... |
|
the whole time that Mr. Tesha and I were at the Dairy Queen (say, fifteen minutes) so I've got to say that for at least *SOME FOLKS*, gas prices obviously still aren't yet nearly high enough to hurt *THEM*.

10. I'll see your five and raise you six. |
|
We're right below the $5 mark in southern California and therefore I'm going to assume that we'll be right below $6 in time for the November election. And can somebody tell me again why McCain thinks that he has a chance?

for the past few weeks. Let's hope the next time it changes, it will change to less.
