Hilarity. This guy gets my nomination for Conservative Idjit of the week.

To sum it up if you don't want to follow the link: the guy is a crazed mammophobe in the style of John Ashcroft.

6. He's going to make sure and video tape EVERY SINGLE bare breast in the capital
Sounds to me like a flimsy excuse to get off on the marble nipples.

There's nothing like a public prude who (obviously, with 14 kids) has spent so much time with his own "naughty parts" exposed. Where do the Republicans find these self-righteous scolds? I find the "boobs" on various statues far less troubling than "boobs" like this nimrod holding public office.

I hope he stays commited. It will keep him out of mischief and continue to make his crowd look ridiculous. Or maybe he thinks just because he's got 14 kids that nobody else has any self control or sense. And nude art on the front porch sounds kind of cool - maybe he'll start a new decorating trend. Stephin Maturin of the Aubrey/Maruin series called nudity his "Birthday suit" and found it appropriate for all occasions - or something like that.

Nudity in the name of exhibiting human figure has been part of pagan religions, both in Greece and Rome. Since moden Christianity claims to have evolved the these two civilisation it has borrowed the idea into their art and other fields.

Western civilisation has traveled a great deal in promiscuity till it legalised same sex marriages while children born out of wedlock was an older story.

However, of late there has been moves by some circles to get over it. Movement for abstinence has started and separate single sex education is also being demanded.

You just have to wonder where his mind is if he thinks a few old statues are an open door to corrupting children. Yeah, because that is the biggest problem facing our country today. So glad to see someone has their priorities straight.

Anyone else ever wonder how much better off our country might be if Mexico had succeeded in keeping Texas?

If this is the worst problem facing Texas, God Bless 'em! I would have thought their failing educational system or their judicial system might have a higher priority but I guess not.

I would have loved to hear what Anne Richardson would have said!

8. Decency crusades are *always* misdirection, concealing deep corruption.
If this rube really thought that boobies ranked anywhere in the top hundred problems in Washington, it might be worth a hilarious human-interest story. But the Post is playing it fairly straight, treating this nut's opinions as worthy of serious consideration.
