Breaking News..... MeetThe Press Tim Has Died.... |
|
Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 02:56 PM by rsmith6621
........MSNBC has lost me a a viewer until they bury him.....my wife does not like the constant every ten minutes reminder that he has passed.....Tim deserves the tributes but his passing should not be bigger than the other news that is out there needing to be covered. I'm certain that Tim would not like the looping coverage that has gone on for two days now....I know the staff at MSNBC needs to grieve but I wish they would stop the every ten minute spots....
I really want to watch KO tonight.

1. The coverage is becoming the story. |
|
It has become distasteful.

3. The Russert coverage is now officially tacky. |
|
They have long passed the period for respectable retrospect.
The coverage is now taking on a Home Shopping Network feel. Sell - sell - sell...then sell some more.
Tim was a good news man, and I'm very sorry he died, but he was also a part of the media that looked the other way with Bush/Cheney, and failed to do the job they're supposed to do.
I haven't watched MSNBC at all since Tim died, except to see if they were still talking about him...and they were.
