I am going absolutely nuts by this continuing Russert coverage
Please do not respond to this post. It is not worth it. I am only speaking out to keep myself from throwing myself under a bus. It is truly nuts.
This just shows how crazy the msm truly is. Enough has been said on this site. I just can't hold it in anymore.

22. He actually called Russert "the quintessential Mark Twain?"
He should be arrested immediately and forced to watch 10 years of Russert's suck-up faux interviews, with an audio CD of Twain's greatest hits playing at the same time.

He gets one chance to pick the right button to turn Russert's audio off and Twains up. If he fails, it's back to freshman American lit class for the entire semester until he learns what's quintessential and what's bullshit.

Arrrghhh... I can't stand some quasi-literate fool comparing one of the world's all time great, great writers, satirists, journalists and true progressives to a stuffed shirt hack with an ego the size of the QE II but without a single reason for his extraordinary level of self-satisfaction.

No reason beyond his obscenely bloated salary, that is, which he earned by functioning as TV's leading mouthpiece for status quo corporatism, as practiced by the free market lunatics from the Friedman (either one) school of economic mythology.

Other than that, I'm sure he was just a terrific guy.

4. Oh, for christ's sake
Change the channel. You really do need something in your life if this is the kind of thing that upsets you.

A life. That accomplishes something. Try it.

5. The more I hear, the more I learn about Tim. It seems to me that he was one of the main
coordinators of the news going across all channels of MSM. They have lost their fearless leader in feeding the news the way they want it not ... So be prepared to see some changes!

10. Nope
I am happy another one was started. Especially since it was started by someone complaining about the Russert threads but then went ahead and started another Russert thread. Is there an irony thing?

Like the people complaining constantly about the Russert threads are contributing something productive to the conversation. Yeah, good one! :)

I didn't add the sarcasm thing because I found it ironic that someone was complaining about a Russert thread and then started another Russert thread. If you are sick of the Russert threads, then why the heck would you start a Russert thread of your own??!?!?!

Russert. Russert.Russert.Russert.

Russert.

Russert.Russert.

Russert.Russert.Russert.

17. The OP did not post about Russert- rather the OP expressed what the rest of us are sick of.
I, and the rest of DUers hiding the Russert threads, do recognize
the difference.

23. But it added another Russert thread
to the pile.

And you went ahead and posted in another Russert thread.

I don't get that logic. Hide the threads, as you say you are, and don't participate in any more of the Russert or not-a-Russert-thread-but-a-sick-of-the-Russert-threads-threads. That's what I do when I am sick of a subject.

12. i agree with you. Sarcasm is appropriate. I have not watched tv or du for days
Except for small moments to turn it on and off. Tweedy still there. Matt Lauer with Tim's kid was impossible. How many days has it been? I turn it off constantly except to check for something real or important. There is something of a key here. Some sort of control...but don't listen to me because I have missed all the du threads. That's why I can beg you not to respond to this thread.
