Korea Free Trade Agreement and US Beef

I urge everyone to write the Congressional Delegation and ask them to oppose the KFTA. Koreans will not allow US beef to be imported into the country and the Korean media continues to levy false accusations about mad cow. There have been large protests throughout the country. If Koreans don't want to import US beef, then they should not get favorable trade agreements with our country.

1. Are you sure you're on the right forum. US beef is heavily subsidized and

high in hormone, antibiotic and fat content. It is bad for
you.

Why should the Koreans let the US Beef Welfare
Lobby destroy their domestic industry by dumping
low quality subsidized product into their market?

The US Calf lobby has almost succeeded in destroying
Alberta Beef growers by leveraging these so called Bi
Lateral trade agreements which are really Unilateral
extortion agreements.

2. And don't forget no one has any idea of how much Mad Cow there is in

our beef because our government will not let most cows be tested, even the downers that are fed into the human food chain. Most other sources of beef are safer than US beef.
