How about Aaron Brown as a replacement for Russert |
|
I don't usually post in General and it seems pretty rough in here but I always liked Brown's style. I think it's safe to say that we're not going to get Keith or someone in there.

1. I don't know that there will be a replacement for Russert... |

that is, someone who fills both the moderator role on Meet the Press AND Washington Bureau Chief at NBC News. I think it's pretty likely that two people will get those jobs. I don't know about Meet the Press moderator, but bureau chief will probably go to either David Gregory or Andrea Mitchell.

8. I could imagine David Gregory in the MTP slot. |
|
He's got that lean and hungry look about him.
I'd love to see Aaron Brown there, but he has his sarcastic side (I remember him from the all-night ABC World News Now), and I don't think that would fly with the PTB.

1- He was weak enough to be knocked off by a lightweight like Anderson COOPER.
2- He seems to be somewhat lazy. At least once, for sure, and I'm thinking a couple of other times, he refused to leave the golf course for a breaking story. G.E.RUSSERT was -----HUNGRY-----"ambitious" and wanted it badly and wasn't too proud to kiss Jack WELCH's and other corporate ass.
