3. Yup.
No question.

Even Colbert in character is better than any MSM talking head.

4. the best interviewer in the business is Bill Moyers.
He is so smooth and intelligent. Seamless. Followup questions! Too bad he's a little too old and too liberal for MTP.

15. I love Amy
but she's been slipping a little lately. I wish DemNow! was a 2 hour show, maybe then she'd have more time to delve. But she let's the interviewees talk so long sometimes...

Lately i've been enjoying GritTV at FireDogLake. Laura Flanders (?) is the host...

Also, you gotta love the Young Turks.

And honestly, if anyone thinks there is a better interviewer out there than Charlie Rose, then i'd like to hear about it...

:)

:WTF:

They must have lowered their standards.

17. John Stewart & Stephen Colbert can be taken more seriously
than Maureen Dowd. She's nothing but fluff.

18. Colbert & Stewart make serious points acting as comedians, Dowd...
Dowd pretends to be a serious journalist who is really a comedienne.

The difference is noticeable.

19. she is serious in person
there is a huge difference between the way she writes and when you see her in person. she is actually pretty shy and quiet.
