Obama gains over 10 points in latest Kentucky poll
I figured that Kentucky was completely out of reach for Obama. Yet here in a Survey USA poll just released, he is only 12 points behind McCain. He was down by 24 points a month ago. The Democratic senate candidate, Lunsford, is within 4 points of Mitch McConnell.

1. He didn't really campaign there at all during primary..

...as far as I know. I don't think he can win KY, but he might bring it to single digits.

2. Excellent!
Would love to see Kentucky get even closer and of course getting rid of McConnell would be fantastic.

3. Wouldn't it be great to have Mitch McConnell out of office?
Increased Democratic turnout for Obama can only help in the effort to defeat the Republican senator.

4. Yes it would be great to see McConnell out of office.
I hope we can get rid of Chambliss this November.

6. I hope that Saxby "Sack of Shit" Chambliss will be gone with the wind come 2009.
I'll never forgive Chambliss for his shameless and heartless political ad campaign against Max Cleland.
:grr:
