9. When she said that.... |
|
I could just picture how us young Marines (in a MUCH earlier war) would have responded. A pretty, smart, nasty-talking woman paying attention to the grunts. They must love her. Grunts respond to REAL people.
I also wondered how many masturbatory fantasies she has spawned in our troops. I myself am too old for such things......excuse me, need to go get a grip on myself!

Not just another pretty face. What a reporter...what a journalist. You folks want to see a REAL journalist???? Not some rich sob behind a desk? Watch this interview with Jon. WOW, I'm speechless.

... and, most of all, easy to be with (which is what grace is all about). Stella. Multi-lingual, educated, old family, excellent conversationalist, well-informed ... I was in love. (It was the ONLY sane response.) Couldn't help it or do anything about it. Stunning.

19. well she spelled it out right didn't she? |
|
we know shit about what's going on out there, and apparently that is the way this thuggish regime we have want it. Shameful and disgusting. And those Vets who are coming back are homeless, have numerous mental illnesses and the public goes on its merry way. Sickening.

20. I thought she was some sort of actress when she first came on. |
|
I was thinking, Geez not another cutsie actor/actress interview. Boy was I surprised. I think her physical beauty made her blunt honest remarks about the wars have that much greater impact. If CBS wants to boost their dismal ratings, they need to show more of her work. I'll be looking for it.

more airtime we might be better off.

22. Her title is Chief Foreign Correspondent for CBS News yet... |
|
how often do you see her on CBS News? I see lots of McCain/Condi/Laura photo ops when they visit the Green Zone but very little of Lara and her in-depth reporting. I wonder why that is?
If I was a GI in the war zone and she came in and said "What's Up MuthaFucka" I'd be in love! :) :loveya:

23. You have to wonder what her CBS bosses think of her "blow my brains out" remark |
|
and if she'll be reprimanded (or even fired) for it.
"If I were to watch the news that you're hearing in the United States I'd just blow my brains out because it'd drive me nuts". That's pretty a pretty powerful put-down of your employer but typical of Lara. I loved her body language when she said it also.
