Racist, anti-Obama Button Being Sold at Texas GOP Convention
Edited on Wed Jun-18-08 07:23 AM by El Pinko

I guess I'm a bit naive, because I'm actually a bit surprised at this...

Stick a Pin in It
1:25 PM Sat, Jun 14, 2008

While a number of speakers -- such as Railroad Commission chairman Michael Williams and Mike Huckabee -- have praised the advance of Barack Obama and what it means towards a colorblind society, at least one vendor hasn't gotten the message.

At the Republican state convention, a booth hosted by Republicanmarket was selling a pin Saturday that says: If Obama is President will we still call it the White House.

There were other pins that weren't necessarily conveying the positive, inclusive, united front that has been portrayed during the convention. One said, "Press 1 for English. Press 2 for Deportation" and another, "I will hold my nose when I vote for McCain"

9. friends and I were just talking the other day about how CMT channel has made it 'cool' to be redneck
with their shows about redneck weddings, mobile home makeovers and the Blue Collar Comedy tour guys. It feels as if they've turned the humor and sarcasm into a badge of honor. And Bush only made matters worse.

11. I commented about this on the other thread...
...that the language of the pin is curious.

It says: "will we still call it the White House" not "can we still call it the White House" or "will we be able to still call it the White House".

To answer their question, no, I don't expect that they will call it the White House once Obama is elected (praise FSM).

I full expect them to call it something else since they're bigots.
