This has been on my mind for a while and I got to get thoughts on this. If it is found out that Bush indeed committed crimes of high crimes and lied to the nation, can they go back and charge him with crimes after he leaves office? I know impeachment is off the table but I wonder what they would do if the evidence is revealed after he leaves office.

If you look at that guy Bugliosi who wants to charge him with murder, I think he principally plans to make Bush's life hell after he leaves office. Assuming he does so (leave office), which somehow I can't completely wrap my head around.

When one considers the entirety of the past 7+ years - 2 stolen elections, wars, corruption, lying, stealing, cheating, disregard for life or death - and we expect these thugs to simply walk away quietly? I pray so, but somehow it's a concept I find very difficult to grasp. And I agree, I won't sleep peacefully until they do leave, and pray I can then relax and stop worrying about this crap.

5. I think they can - assuming they aren't pardoned by the next President |

Which McCain may or may not do. Don't know about Obama.
I'm not sure the political will exists to make such a prosecution stick though.

6. Good luck finding someone to go after him. |

The Democrats will let him and his minions off the hook and keep everything hidden. Some years later the same players and their spawn will return to repeat it all over again.
Democratic politicians.... Have you learned your lesson yet?
If you haven't, then what exactly is it that prevents you from doing your job and saving this country from this same criminal bunch?

8. According to Vincent Bugliosi... |

...the former L.A. ADD who convicted Charles Manson, they can charge Bush with murder.
"The Prosecution Of George W. Bush For Murder."
Fascinating reading. I highly recommend it.
