MSNBC confirms Tim Russert still dead.
Will continue to run 5 day old lead story until all other news orgs run All Tim, All Dead 24/7. In the meantime some source said that a failing economy, endless wars, and a corrupt administration seems more important than All Tim, All dead all day. But what do they know?

2. As flood waters head toward NO...
As hundreds of thousands of people are left homeless due to the flooding... as BushCo tries to give Big Oil more of our land based on lies...

Tim the War Facilitator needs our full attention... look at the shiny keys!

5. Exactly right.
Shiny keys.

I have been watching a live stream from Iowa, the damage to people's lives are terrible.

I wonder if Timmy took all the money with him, the money that was so important.

10. What money
he was just a good ole catholic boy from Buffalo who loved ordinary people. He didn't even want to be paid to cover the election.

Leave Timmy alone

11. And all the lies...
He surely took a lot to the grave that we should rightfully know.

I can't bring myself to mention a name here... but had "one of ours" passed on, I'm sure it would have been in retribution for some great sin. Like the sins that caused Katrina... but God wasn't telling Russert anything. Naw...

Karma... or he knew too much... my tinfoil hat is getting all buzzy... there's way too much coverage of this... why do we need this constant adulation and enforcement of the good guy meme? He wasn't. I've no doubt he was a nice enough guy and people liked him, but this amount of attention? There is surely another reason for this.

I blame BushCo for my buzzy tinfoil... It started when I didn't believe their comic book drawings of WMD in Iraq.

:tinfoilhat:

8. Engravers at the vatican are working on his headstone as we speak..
Edited on Wed Jun-18-08 05:59 PM by SoCalDem
The headstone will be 4 city blocks long..to encompass all the mighty works & kind words due a man such as St Tim of Timmalo, NY..staunch fan of his beloved Timmalo Tims..

There is some worry that the headstone way still be too small, so teams have set off across the world in search of a suitable location for the pyramid of Tim, which will undoubtedly be needed to hold all the accolades & tribute from the world..

Apparently I have not missed a thing... since they no longer report news... as bad as it was in the first place.

15. Shut off MSNBC
Edited on Wed Jun-18-08 06:49 PM by DesertRat
I've watched some tv (mostly CNN) and listened to radio today and haven't heard a word about Russert. I watched Michelle Obama on the View for an hour. No mention of Russert there. It isn't hard to avoid Russert news. Why keep torturing yourself?

17. I stopped watching all the news channels a long time ago.
If one has a computer or even a shortwave radio, the real news is there.

Real reporting is gone, except for maybe one or two people.

21. I waited last Sunday for Tim to rise from the dead
I kept thinking he was perhaps the new messiah. Instead of nail holes in his hands, he would prove his existence from sticky fingers after eating buffalo wings.

29. Good point.
The GOP only have the legend of a dead man to hold up as an example of what they stand for.

Of course it's all lies, but that's never stopped the GOP from repeating them.
