"In The Valley Of Elah"-just watched this. It made my heart hurt. |

We're turning some loyal, patriotic soldiers into something I don't recognize, with no remorse.
Our military is enabling this, and then lying about it. Yes, I know it was fiction, but based on a true story.
Now I have a clearer understanding of why troops are 'suiciding' themselves in large numbers, and why the military won't fess up to their involvement. In so many cases, the cause of death is undetermined. Read Greg Mitchell; he's been keeping track of the unexplained horrors.
I'm just so sad that this is happening.

3. Heavens.... It is an excellent movie.... Tommy Lee Jones alone |
|
and his performance is reason enough... It is poignant, not over-the-top at all.
