i'm curious. in almost 2 years of democratic majority in congress (i know) NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

would this congress back obama? would they allow any change?

would they override a presidential withdraw from iraq and side with the pentagon?

i have lost all faith in the ability of 'this' congress to change anything.

2. The only reason why I think..
Obama may have a snowballs chance in hell of changing anything has nothing to do with Obama himself. It is about getting people involved in our government. I think the whole dynamic has to change. Otherwise we are still looking to get apples from a pear tree. The only something other is possible is if a portion of the 300 million people we are stand up and take notice, and make our voices heard. I hope it will happen sooner or later, but I think our country will be fractured beyond recognition before it happens.

3. Pelosi is disappointing us at the moment on FISA but
Don't forget they have accomplished a lot, the media just isn't covering it. That's very important and often overlooked.

4. Compare an Al Gore administration for 8 years to that of Bush
and see if you think there would have been a difference.
