Watched Laura Ingraham last night for giggles, snorts and grins

I do realize that saying this is like carrying coals to Newcastle, but OMG that woman is stupid. She was apparently substituting for O'Reilly and interviewing, if you could call her hectoring style of talking that, a guest from an environmental group about drilling offshore. The guest explained to her that right now the US is the 3rd largest producer of oil, and what the status of our oil reserves were. Laura got all upset when she heard that we were 3rd and started frothing at the mouth about how we were Americans and we didn't want to be number 3 in anything - we wanted to be number 1. The guest just looked at her in bemusement - he had just explained about the oil reserves that the US has and that that was what determined how much oil we can produce. Laura had apparently not heard anything he said past 'we are 3rd'. It was a pretty pitiful display of stupidity combined with arrogance. Thankfully we had just watched Keith Olbermann prior to turning on Fox and had had some intelligent conversation to fall back on.

I can't watch the FOX "News" :wtf: Channel beyond five minutes before I wish to take a baseball bat to my TV screen. No, I just don't go there. :blush:

BTW last night's interview with Olbermann was the first time I've seen John Cusack interviewed. Even with the "time lapse" making him a little groggy, I have the impression that Cusack is a highly intelligent and articulate communicator. That was a pleaseant surprise as well as an excellent interview for Keith Olbermann.

I would never want to see anyone die of cancer ... even someone I dislike as much as that right wing shill - Laura Ingraham. However, her survival only supports the old adage, "Only the GOOD die young." :shrug:
