Vincent Bugliosi / The Prosecution of GW Bush for Murder.
One of my favorite news programs for in depth information is L.A.'s Ian Masters, "Background Briefing. " Best news this side of Democracy. /
First half of the program is David Sirota. For purposes here, please skip to second half with Vincent Bugliosi. / The steel trap mind prosecutor who jailed Charles Manson. / He seems on a mission to jail Pres. Bush on First Degree Murder. Please listen. Can a president send American soldiers to their deaths for no cause. / Sounds like Bugliosi will settle for nothing less than to make GW Bush's retirement a living hell. You opinions, please. Also, Ian Master's is a genius. You might make him a habit.

****

Vincent Bugliosi on his belief that President Bush should be indicted and tried for murder. Mr. Bugliosi is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney, who is well-known for his successfull prosecution of Charles Manson
snip
Vincent Bugliosi's new book is "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder," which makes an inrefutable case that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses a war that has not only caused the deaths of thousands of American soldiers, but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children. In this passionate, reasoned and searing indictment, replete with incontrovertible evidence, George W. Bush is guilty of murder, a crime which, for Vincent Bugliosi, cries out for justice. snip.

2. Who votes Bugliosi will find a prosecutor to take up his cause.
Bush should hope the DA be in Vermnont. They have the most humane prisons. Since Paraguay has now elected a leftist government, maybe chopping wood in Paraguay will not be his place of refuge.

3. He says he already has them lined up
Mike Malloy had him on last week. Bugliosi has been talking to state AG's all over the country. No doubt some would be more receptive of his idea than others.

15. Democracy Now did an interview with him June 13.
Bugliosi:

"I may be sounding presumptuous to you right now, Amy and Juan, but I’m telling you this: I am going after George Bush. I may not succeed, but I’m not going to be satisfied until I see him in an American courtroom being prosecuted for first-degree murder.”

5. Thank you, Mr. Bugliosi.
I think it is great how a man of his reputation says what we all know - - GW Bush has committed war crimes and disgraced our country.

I found it in B&N tucked away in a corner. Sure would have thought they would have it right inside the door.

11. It would be an honor.
I think they usually tape these events-
I know they taped Jeremy Scahill when he was here.
It's the same group hosting, so I would assume they
will tape this historical appearance too.

14. Seems like a natural fit for the "Booknotes" thing that C-SPAN airs on the weekends
that is, if Brian Lamb has the balls to put it on the air.

16. C-Span will never have him on to discuss this book... NO way. NO how.
I hope I'll have to eat those words, but let's face it.
C-span is funded by the cable companies.
More corporate money.

They only PRETEND to be a free speech zone.

They quickly hang up on any caller who
even gets near to talking about what matters.

13. And the sentence should be...
Send him and his wretched money grubbing family
to Iraq with buckets and brooms.
Let their sentence be cleaning up the mess
they made for the rest of their miserable lives.

Oh, and their vacation time can be spent cleaning the
grave markers on all the people who died as a result
of their greed and deception.

GO VB!!!!
I'm sure he has set out an air tight case for
SOME hot shot up and coming prosecution attorney
to use.
For every passing generation, there is a replacement rising.

20. Does he go as far as pointing out that Bush and his Saudi friends have set up an energy monopoly?
And that it's of course international in nature, thus effecting the entire world?

It sounds like an excellent book, and an excellent plan.
