2. I bought a new coffee maker recently |
|
A lot of the models said they made 12 cups, but they looked the same size as the old 10 cup coffee makers. I looked at the boxes carefully, and discovered that a cup of coffee is now 5 ounces.

I've had a hard time these past five years finding a 16 oz pound. Most of the time they have 14 or 12 oz. Bacon is particularly deceptive because the package looks the same for 12 oz and 16 oz.
Seems since the f***ing bushes took over everything has some amount of fraud and manipulation in it.

I remember seeing a company (Hormel?) advertising a particular SKU of bacon as 1/3 less fat.
But if you check it out, the slices are 1/3rd smaller (!) So, yeah, no duh, they're 1/3rd less fat. :eyes:
