And getting his ass-whooped by Joe Biden on the 30MM oil-leased acres that aren't being explored/drilled. Biden to Graham "You're entitled to your own opinion, not your own facts."

4. Joe Biden dominated and stayed on message, kudos to him. |

Brian Williams knew Biden dominated that's why he tried to frame the debate/interview with the very last question by asking Biden about his interest in running for V.P. in order to cast some subliminal aspersion as to why Biden was so forcefully and efficiently I might add defending Obama. Brian Williams never asked Lindsay Graham whether he would consider being V.P. for McCain.
Brian Williams also tried to frame the debate in another neocon, oil drenched, corporate loving way, by saying that environmentalists considered $4.00 a gallon gasoline as a gift. Williams framed it that way because he wanted to piss off the average American against environmentalists. Of course environmentalists are also Americans punished by the escalating fuel, food etc. etc. costs, but Williams living in his corporate loving ivory tower couldn't or wouldn't understand that. A true gift to environmentalists would be cheap clean sources of energy that didn't destroy life as we know it. Biden to his credit called Williams on his bullshit and said $4.00 a gallon gasoline was a gift to oil companies.
Williams knew Biden dominated and that's why he had two corporate loving neocons on afterwords in one sided commentary, John Harwell and Andrea Mitchell in order to clean up the mess, he couldn't handle the truth and he couldn't allow some balance by having a liberal or even a moderate on for any post interview analysis.
They had a grand time, Harwell was so desperate grasping for neocon/fascist loving straws, he mentioned flag lapel pins without the least sense of irony, that he wasn't wearing one. I guess Harwell hates America, I just can't understand why, maybe he hates us for our freedoms, like whether we have the right to wear a flag lapel pin or not.
Thanks for the thread, Snarkoleptic.

I saw it in much the same way.
Biden's 'gift to the oil companies' line was great.
Graham looked terrible, his body language spelled out 'loser' and he knew Joe was handing his ass to him on national television.
I was surprised at how bad Graham looked; he's usually one of the better of the Republicans at framing their issues, but he was reduced to eye-rolling and smirking and seemed truly flustered at having to defend the indefensible (i.e. oil company profits and giveaways.)

The flag pin is the LEAST troubling.
