Poorly worded survey question |
Edited on Sun Jun-22-08 11:04 AM by Liberal_in_LA
I was reading a sun-sentinel article about financial hardships and came upon this survey question. I started to answer the question but realized I couldn't. Have you saved enough for any situation or are you one emergency-room visit away from financial disaster? Yes No http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/southflorida/sfl-flrndfinancesbjun18,0,5215823.story

1. Unless you are in the top 1%, NO WAY to have enough money for ANY situation |
:wtf: Yep, bad wording, in the extreme. And faulty logic to boot.

4. Sounds like a survey question written by an 8th grader |
That question was probably written by the reporter, who may or may not have graduated middle school.
