2. There are plenty of dumb and dumber here in America that would still vote for McCain.

5. Hey, the Republicans recognize a winning formula when they've got it.
Why change strategies when the one you have is working so well?

Please take note that, even with a Democratic majority in Congress, Bush is still getting his way.

7. It seems a large number of DUers prefer that choice, too. Read the FISA threads.
How many are directly blaming Obama?

We'd better figure out how to rally around our nominee, or we'll be getting old and stupid for at least 4 more years.

9. Exactly. Obama can unravel the unthinkable executive orders once he gets in.
Getting him in is, right now, the number one priority.

11. I Didn't See Anyone Saying they Wouldn't Vote as a Result
We are being triangulated, again, and it sucks.
Yes, we will still vote for Obama, because we don't want McCain,
but it still sucks.

10. That line of thinking failed miserably
the last two times. "Our guy is smarter than your guy" is not going to work unless it is backed up by something more substansial and appealing to voters. We have substance and appeal with Obama but pointing to how much smarter he is than McCain will drive away more voters than it will gain.

16. True,
But it is a bunch of other issues that will swing the populace our way. Not how much smarter one Candidate is than the other. Smarter voters, not smarter candidates will win it for us. Not the other way around.

17. Smarter Candidates on a level playing field usually prevail...Its Obamas TIME
and OUR TIME...

Come, we ride with him....head the GOP off at the pass....

18. Smarter Candidates Win if,
how much smarter they is not made into an issue. People can tell who a smarter candidate is. Being told who a smarter candidate is does nothing. Using the higher intelligence of a candidate does nothing. Letting voters see if for themselves does.

19. I agree....the smarter candidate will muddle through the mess to pull it off
Smarter in cheating, lying, and stealing got Bush through...

I don't think M<Same can pull it through this time...he got too many issues..the pertinent kind

Obama has issues of the PUB BS kind....they make things up so as to fit the sit....Peeps getting bored with GOP Tripe

esp when they see for their own eyes the damage the GOP has done to America and its People.

Obama is going Positive.

15. Alas, there comes a time when REASON must and should prevail
Old ways evolve(there goes that word again) into New ways.....Obama is the best bet at this point in time and the polls reflect it...
