More US Capitol Computers Were Hacked From China
The Hill | Jordy Yeager | June 21, 2008 06:21 PM

More Members of Congress have had their computers infiltrated by hackers within China than initially suspected, a lawmaker has revealed.

Reps. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), Chris Smith (R-N.J.), and Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) admitted to having data removed from their Capitol Hill computers last week, but Wolf says there are more.

"I'm not at liberty to say who they are, but there are other members," said Wolf, ranking member on the Appropriations Committee's State and Foreign Operations subcommittee.

Computers within the Foreign Affairs Committee, on which Smith serves as a senior Republican, were also infiltrated. Kirk suspects that other committees may have been attacked as well.

1. So how's that Homeland Security that we're spending $$billions$$ on working out for us?
I feel so safe knowing that I can't bring more than 3 ounces of hair gel on the plane while Chinese spies are hacking into sensitive government information.

:sarcasm:

2. It took them 60 letters and five years to catch someone sending fake Anthrax to Bush.
What hope do the rest of us have?

4 Years for California Man Who Threatened Bush, Others
Source: Associated Press

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A nuclear engineer from California has been sentenced to more than four years in federal prison for sending threatening letters to President Bush, first lady Laura Bush and others.

Prosecutors say Michael Lee Braun mailed nearly 60 letters over a five-year period after the 2001 terrorist attacks. Vice President Dick Cheney and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld were also targets.

Most contained a white powder the letters described as poison. It was actually baking soda.

The 53-year-old Braun was arrested in 2006. He was an engineer at the now-closed Rancho Seco nuclear power plant south of Sacramento.
He was sentenced Friday to four years and three months in prison. He also must pay $54,000 in fines and damages.

6. Classic Bushie Psyops misdirection. WHY would a man who threatened Bushies
ONLY mail anthrax envelopes to DEMOCRATS and the so-called "Liberal Media".

WHY would he mail his very first anthrax letter to the tabloid reporters who printed candid photos of the drunk Bush daughters falling all over themselves?

It simply does not add up.

They will never catch whichever ex-CIA Bush flunkie did this (or whichever Bush flunkie did it, CIA or not).

No, whoever did this had access to that good old Ft. Detrick Made in the USA anthrax.

Sorry, but I am 99% certain this is a classic Bushie red herring an I am 99.9% certain the Bushie who actually did it will never be caught, for the same reason the Gestapo would never investigate or prosecute SS abuses at Dahau or Buchenwald.

3. Stalin's hacking Hitler's computers... so?
Like Stalin and Hitler, the Chinese are our bosom buddies. Like Stalin and Hitler, Amerika and China are now ruled by the same form of goverment.

Like Stalin and Hitler, not much differentiates Amerika and China except for economic rationales and the fact that we are still treated a bit nicer (for now) than the Chinese peasantry.

But the Chinese keep getting treated a littler better all the time, we are being treated worse all the time.

Soon we shall meet and TRULY be like Stalin and Hitler when there isn't a nickle's worth of difference (other than the economic blather) between us, in practice.
