But don't spend too much time tracking it down.

Not important.

Maybe I'd better change to comcast so that I can stay on top of this whole "end of the world thing", imagine my embarrassment if I'm the last one to find out!

One possible answer...
"...'loon' was a term of abuse in Shakesperean times, being as it is a shortened form of 'lunatic' i.e. somebody made mad by the power of the moon."

At least Gene 'time Cube' Ray gives away his stuff for free. That said, I wish the guy the best of luck, because if he can get people to fork over $100 to find more information about why the sun is going to explode in a year and 3 weeks then he's carrying on the fine tradition on PT Barnum and demonstrating that there's one born every minute.

40. It's a 'spirit' claiming that it keeps the Sun from exploding
and since we don't appreciate the job it's doing, it's going to go on strike on July 17th - and apparently that means the Sun will explode a year after that. Something to do with anti-matter, I think.

53. Thanks to alfredo, Firefox did it.
Doh, I should have figured out to try a different browser.

Couple thoughts:

Radio_Lady, what's up with members who can't lighten up and feel the need to write nasty remarks to light-hearted posts? (rhetorical)

And, isn't it refreshing to find a doomsday site that offers solutions?:

It is simple. We put a FTL capable E-T ship exactly 270' inside Earth's exact orbit around Sun(orbit is center to center) on July 16, 2008 exactly on the other side of the Sun, exactly one sidereal year to the microsecond before the time shown by the conjunction in the Missing Earth crop circle of July 16, 2009. The wormhole leading to our A-M debt will appear then and last for about 3/4ths of a second. We drop the ship down to zero with respect to the speed of light and it is taken almost instantaneously to our A-M debt, striking it and exploding in plus/minus matter explosion and we are disconnected.

Damn, I should have been able to figure that out, too!
I was seriously worried until I came across that entry. :sarcasm:

That is the predicted date of the end of the world by both the Mayan Calender and the I Ching. I'm going with the Zoroastrian Apocalypse. It's the most feasible, realistic, and easy. A comet slams into the earth. The end.

54. Sun warning posted 6-20-2008 to Congress.org in Soapbox
Hi Radio Lady,

I appreciate your posting the URL to my sun warning. I read the comments and replies with interest. Inferentially, they gave me some editing ideas. For that, my thanks.

Since the http://no1stcostlist.com/index.php interface very clearly asks for questions enter>> NEWS, QUESTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE <<enter; I am curious why your members would not address at least one to me.

The prediction is for real. Time is short to act. I am doing my duty as a scientist and a citizen and trying to save lives. The refusal to at least scoff at me to my face, says more about the members of this forum than me.

Questions, scoffs, etc Please.
