Did anyone hear Joe Biden say that there was speculation on oil market?? |

this morning on MTP? He was saying that there were still 40 million acres in the outer continental shelf that the oil companies had not yet drilled or explored. In passing, I thought I heard him say that the price increase of oil was largely due to speculation? Anyone have more details on these comments? very interesting.

The reason I ask is to see if Biden and Obama are on the same page on this issue. That's why I wanted to verify Biden's comments. :-)

so I just rewound to see whether he mentioned that. He definitely talked about the existing leases that aren't being exploited. Didn't hear him speak about speculation driving up the cost of gas, though ...
