This photo seems to be of Lenny Bruce being arrested by the LAPD at the Unicorn club.

Who is the guy following them out of the showroom door?

I say it is George Carlin.

Carlin took great pains to distance himself from Lenny Bruce, usually citing LB as an icon of the 50s while Carlin purported to lay claim to the late 60s and early 70s.

But I think that's him. Fresh faced Bobby Darrin lookalike.

...I think this performance by Steven Colbert comes the closest to a "shock" performance that would have done Bruce and Carlin proud. Honestly, I think it should go down in history - his speech at the White House Correspondent's Dinner.
