Anyone knows anything about "World Venture?" |
|
A co-worker's husband - a real organic chemist who turns anything he touches into manure - may be interested into buying into this venture.
I have a personal bias against any network marketing. I would not mind selling a product that I believe in (in theory, never done any selling) but it appears that the emphasis with such organizations is about recruiting more to the pyramid. Though I understand that many have been making an honest living this way.
This specific venture, apparently, is selling travel packages which, these times I think would be crazy as so many cut on their traveling. And, apparently, one earns commissions only when a whole package is being sold, not just plane tickets.
Last, one's is being evaluated based on how the well one recruits and how well the recruits are doing.
Still, if anyone has anything positive or negative to say - will appreciate it (my co-worker will appreciate it even more). I have never done any selling or marketing.

of these "multi-level, network, work from home marketing" things is a big ponzi scheme. He is not going to make the big money he's promised, and will become a BIG pain in the neck to all the "friends and adequateness" he tries to sell to.

2. Its scammy pyramid crap |
|
Created by people from a company that already got shut down. Sure, this time around I guess that they have a valid travel number that actually works. But the source of their revenue comes by majority from buying new training slots and signing up new agents.
Some idiot I know dragged me on the phone and ambushed me with a sales rep. A few minutes of Google-ing and I figured out it was total crap.
There are 101 better ways to make real dough if you need to put that much effort in...such as a lemonade stand. Really.

Pretty much what I thought.
Sad thing is, these days, when so many people are out of work - as this guy is - they are the most vulnerable for such "great opportunity."
