With a house that has been ruined by an alcoholic slob, the best thing to do is gut it first. Maybe even as far as pulling the walls and leaving the studs exposed. Pull up the carpet, roll it up and haul it out to the dumpster. Spray inside and out for Republicans, being sure to get into every nook and cranny that they can hide in. Put two coats of primer on the walls to kill any bleed through of previous, conservative legislation before you consider addressing the needs of the room. Take a sledge hammer to a stupidly installed policy and reorient things so that traffic can flow in a more progressive direction.

This election is not just a cosmetic makeover. Major structural repairs are required.
