1. That fucker is a lying piece of shit

He's my senator, he's running all kinds of pandering ads because his approval rating is in the 40s and he's about to get his ass kicked out of the Senate.

"Bipartisan" my ass. Fucker votes with Bush 90+% of the time.

Just kidding. I feel the same way about my senator, who is also going to be replaced in November. It seems that my senator is also getting the urge to distance himself from Bush, even though he voted with him 90% of the time. His name is John Sununu and he's about to go out of business, because Jeanne Shaheen is going to kick his butt!

3. Gordon Smith must go

And he's running another commercial with two women who are or were elected Democratic officials, this ad makes me furious. The two women are just so arch and leering and filled with implication. They say nothing positive about Smith other than vauge things like 'he listens'- points that obviously imply that his Democratic rival Jeff Merkely does ot listen.
I dispise these two psuedo Democrats and the vile Republican they tout. When I first moved to Oregon, I called Smith's office with a comment and I have never encountered such nasty attitudes as his staff displayed. I told them on the phone I'd only been here a few months, but that their outrageous rudeness had persuaded me to stay in Oregon at least long enough to held defeat Gordon Smith, and here I am, doing all I can to make that dream come true.
The ad I've seen is just dispicable, and the fact that Smith panders himself as a religious person makes them worse. I was raised in church and my Mom would have puked at those commercials and called them vile gossip. Clealy Smith's ethics end with Smith's advantage. A craven and self serving man who stands for nothing, and will calim to stand with everyone.
In short Smith is a liar. He was a lockstep Bush voter for years on end. And those leering DINOs in his commercial know that, and they lie as well.
