Do they think anybody is actually going to believe that?

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV), a US organization dedicated to turning environmental values into public policy, released their environmental scorecard for 2007 this month. The scorecard gives US senators a percentage rating based on their voting record on environmental issues, and while the overall numbers for Congress were up, Senator McCain scored zero.

The likely Republican presidential candidate received this score due to missing all 15 votes scored, including the key vote on repealing tax giveaways to big oil – a measure that failed by only one vote. McCain's lifetime score, according to LCV, is only 24 percent.
