I can read that two ways. One, they are trying to smear Obama by comparing him to a black man that many whites don't like, thus using the common thread of race to link Obama to a racial stereotypes whites can comfortably hate. Two, Jesse Jackson's a bad black man and Obama should not be compared to him.
