Grandpa was a four star admiral. Pop was a four star, too, and CNO.

Johnny boy was a fuck-up at the Academy, apart from his POW time, had a less-than-stellar (literally) career, and retired as a mere captain, four grades below his father and grandfather. As Father and Son, the elder McCains form the only American family in the history of the nation to have two four stars in it.

Johnny boy does nothing to help the family legacy. His run for president (apart from being the dream of his wife) is his straw grasp to live up to the family legacy.

2. He's going to be extra failed when he loses the presidency.
What happens to a dream deferred?
It has some cream of wheat then falls asleep watching Wheel of Fortune.

4. Would you go to a physician
who graduated 790th in a class of 795?

No, neither would I.

But that was John McCain's standing in his graduating class at the Naval Academy in 1958.

FIFTY YEARS AGO!!!!

5. And what, exactly, WHAT is Conservative about wanting to get into our last oil reserves right now!?!
If they're a Conservative family, they've got to be wondering about Crash, crashing the oil reserves, not to mention blowing the budget on a bunch of bloated, TIF dependent nuclear power plants.
