I interpreted that to mean that she's for it, but since she's getting
so many calls against it, she's claiming to be undecided.

She'll support it, regardless of what her constituents want. Bitch.

124. The interesting quandary that the GOP finds itself in
is that their whole pitch was the spying was in response to 9/11. So they can't really bring it up.

Which exposes the telecoms to liability, even if this bill passes.

Nowhere in her thinking, apparently, do individual's rights to privacy come into play. It's all about whether telecoms will assist the government.

93. Sitting here with the 4-year-old who is regularly indoctrinated by me (with
her parents' permission). We were playing "Lotto" while I had the debate on in the background. I finally had to mute Hatch because I just couldn't stand it any longer. She asked why I did that and I explained that I already knew what he was going to say. She wanted to know what he was going to say and, rather than explain it to a 4 y.o., I said he was going to say what George Bush says. She gasped and shouted, "HOW DARE HE!!"

My work here is done. ;-)
