Graduating Senior Arrested For 'Mooning' Prank

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. (CBS) ― It's supposed to be a day to "reach for the stars." Instead, a Westchester County high school student decided to "shoot for the moon," dropping his pants as he went up to pick up his diploma.

As CBS 2 HD found out, he's now facing charges in a case that's sparking outrage.

Dropping his pants isn't mooning. If he showed bare ass, that's mooning. I know, because I have mooned everything from the Kremlin to the Capitol building of Nebraska to Staten Island.

Someone needs to postulate to these idiots: What would happen if we didn't arrest anyone?

1) Next year, the whole senior class would take their clothes off. The year after that, and the whole country would run around naked. The year after that, the universe would spiral in on itself.

7. Drunk guy who dropped his pants at a public pool got 12 years in Dallas

Course he showed more than his ass. Turned out that a 12 yo girl and her mom were in the late night crowd and he got busted on child sex predator charges. I read an article about him and a bunch of other sex offenders in the Dallas Observer in '99. The therapist kept saying that he was resisting treatment because he refused to admit that he wasn't a sex predator like the others.

I remember the story because it freaked me out. I'd feel like shit if I was a kid and my mom dragged me through a trial over some drunk dude pulling his shorts down as a prank. I'd probably've thought it was funny and that the guy was a moron and giggled about it to my junior high friends the next day. But hey, that's just me.

8. A bunch of Juniors streaked our graduation.

At least, so I'm told. I was a little, um... out of it at the time. "Whoa... what's this cool folder in my hand and why is that tassel swinging back and forth in front of my face? Back and forth... back and forth..."

But yeah, supposedly five or six Juniors rented gowns and stood by the side of the platform where all the Seniors were lined up, and at a strategic moment chucked their gowns and zipped across the platform.

Apparently, there was a pretty good mix of applause in with the shouting.

Nobody got arrested.

I don't even recall hearing about anybody getting their asses 'grounded for the whole rest of the summer, young man'.

People today are wound way too tight.
