1. Umm... Why not just kayak to Los Angeles?
That's what I hate about these online directions; they always give a longer route than necessary.

4. That's hilarious.
I've given up trying to use a GPS (Tom-Tom) given to me this past Christmas, because it keeps on insisting on routing me indirectly. Or I cannot get out of a trip that I didn't take because it was so badly routed and I couldn't get the system to give a more sensible routing.

I tried to get directions from Sydney to Los Angeles on Mapquest and Rand Mcnally websites, but they only seem to do North America.

6. Especially kayaking on I-5!
Don't you have to be enormously strong to do that?

9. "Let's Get Away From It All" . . . (everybody SING!) . . .
Lets take a boat to Bermuda,
Lets take a plane to Saint Paul,
Lets take a kayak to Quincy or Nyack,
Lets get away from it all.

12. Why would you go north to Washington State and then drive back south?
Of course, why would you kayak across the pacific ocean.
