Poll question: CSPIN on Gun control decision from USSC - pre decision call in.
(my prediction? The government wins, DC loses)

This woman just called, "I am a gun owner. the problem is that these people have too many children, and they don't teach them to be responsible. . . . Good people should have guns. Those bad people should not be allowed to have them."

You could hear her biting her tongue, making sure she would not say BLACKS.

How will the USSC rule?

1. "people used to be checked in church to make sure they had guns"
the kool-aid factories must be hiring a third shift to keep up with the demands.

3. 5-4, striking down the DC law. The 2nd Amendment will be incorporated.
The usual shady suspects and Kennedy in the majority. Sanity in the minority.

My prediction.

5. Someone Check What Tony Kennedy Had For Breakfast
See what mood he's in...cause he's the one, once again, who will be the swing here and I suspect he'll side with the Scalito Mob in reversing DC's law.

6. I expect that today the asswipes who wish to take away our guns will be defeated
And the Constitutional right to bear arms will be reaffirmed.

7. 6-3 or 7-2 to overturn
It really is an unreasonable restriction, especially since it doesn't work! The gov't has to have a very compelling reason to do something like this, and the claim that it is a crime-control measure, or in the interest of public safety, is just that: a claim. A theoretical idea, not realized in reality but making a good sound bite.

9. I guess yous poll was correct
Upheld individual right, specified self defense as well as hunting, specified illegal to require trigger locks, disassembled storage, etc.

Guns (firearms, not just handguns) may be kept in the home for self defense. May be kept accessable,in readily usable condition.
