So the democrats rolled over yet again. They have sunk beneath contempt, imho. Note that Obama, Cliniton and McCain didnt vote. Maybe they think it is not that important.. Another sad day..

1. FISA Bill has been shelved until after July recess
so it'll probably never gonna come out until Reid's priority (housing & Medicare) bills are passed. They will hold the FISA bill as long as they can and make it even deader.

5. Obama and Clinton didn't vote because this wasn't the FISA vote.
This was only cloture on motion to proceed to FISA.

8. My two Senators (Menendez and Lautenberg) voted against cloture.
Symbolically, it's almost comforting.

OTOH, the Yay's today will most likely vote yay for the actual Bill. And that sucks.
