O'Reilly wins Another Peabody!11!!!1

Well, maybe the next best thing.

Willamette Week, a weekly progressive rag in Portland Oregon, has awarded the "Rogue of the Week" honor to the ex-Portland newscaster, for taking a local story national. Seems the principal of a Portland school decided it would be more inclusive to have the preamble to the Constitution read at the fifth grade graduation instead of the pledge of allegiance.

First our local dimbulb Lars Larson picked up on the story, then O'Reilly took it national, prompting hate mail to the principal from all the family values voters, earning O'Reilly the award. Hate messages included “YOU SCUMBAG AMERICAN HATING BASTARDS,” and “THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IS NOT OFFENSIVE TO US AND IF IT OFFENDS ANYONE THEN FUCK THEM.... I WISH AN EARTHQUAKE WOULD REMOVE THE WHOLE LEFT COAST.”

Gotta love that higher moral road, dontcha?
