Bugliosi's approach to holding Bush accountable may actually cause Bush more aggravation

Back in the 80s, the novel BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES ends with the upper crust protagonist spending the rest of his life in court for running over a black kid he thought was a hoodlum.

With Bugliosi's approach, Bush could tried for murder in one jurisdiction, and when that fails, he could be tried in another. And another. Eventually, his legal team will fuck up, or they will run into a judge or jury that can't be bribed or intimidated for some reason.

If not, knowing that Bush's bacon was perpetually in the fire would at least be some consolation.
