A truly horrible "Osama Obama" Google ad
Does it appear at the bottom of this page?

http://shop.cafepress.com/anti-barack-obama?cmp=KNC-G-content-antiobama

No to Osama Obama
Buy Your Anti Obama Gear Here Tees, Stickers, Yard Signs & More
www.CafePress.com

It's got all kinds of lies and slander and fucking propaganda and slime from the lowest anal pores imaginable. It's got utterly craptastic lies about Muslim Obama refusing to salute the American flag, how Obama's a socialist, etc.

My question is: do these asswipes have to pay google for every clickthrough from this site? If so, let's make them pay!

All cafe press does is make t shirts of whatever you want. Free speech at its best.

3. I agree
What I'm curious about is whether Google ads pays DU for clickthoughs to this material, and whether the folks who put up this crap up at Cafepress then have to pay Google.

6. yes and yes
Some ads are also billed by the 1,0000 impressions.

But yes, generally speaking, you click, advertiser pays google, google pays web site (DU).

That should lead everyone to an obvious conclusion but it is somewhat against google rules to actually encourage it.

Also, an advertiser can pull ads from specific sites and a site can block specific ads.

8. Why, because they are actually a bit democratic?
If they only offered only RW propoganda, sure, boycott them. But they allow both RW propoganda and LW truths so let em be. :-)

4. It does not appear to be appearing at the bottom of this page
I had hoped that by typing in some of their key phrase it would.

Anyway, do they have to pay for clicks from this site? Anybody?

5. Aaah, there it is!
Apparently they cycle through several ads.

Anyway, does anyone know the answer to this?

7. Yes they have to pay, but
If they see a spike in traffic that does not lead to sales they can complain to google and also have the ad blocked from the site.

Also a daily budget is set so once it is busted the ad will go away, for a day at least.

9. Oh well
Thanks for the information. There goes my little scheme of bankrupting them via their nasty little ad.

I still hate them, but now at least I can go and do something constructive, such as registering voters.
