Barbara Boxer: Rick Noriega wins 'Choose A Challenger' contest

What an incredible race! In just one week, over 25,000 PAC for a Change community members voted in our "Choose a Challenger" contest. I'm pleased to announce that Rick Noriega, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Texas, won the contest with 30% of the vote -- narrowly edging out Al Franken, who finished second with 24%.

Today, we're rushing a $2,500 check from PAC for a Change to Rick Noriega's campaign before the June 30th quarterly reporting deadline. And, in the coming days, we'll be sending a fundraising email to the entire PAC for a Change community on Rick's behalf, giving his campaign a boost of financial support as he takes on incumbent Republican Senator John Cornyn this fall.

His opponent, big bad john cornyn is the worst of the worst in the Senate and needs to be thrown to the curb with extreme prejudice.
