...and I don't want an Obama administration tarnished by accusations of dirty electoral dealings. There are times when it's appropriate to fight fire with fire, but most of the time water does the job better. Obama is doing a pretty good job so far by taking the high road.

I'm cool with 527s criticizing McCain, but not with 'smearing' him, if that means exaggerating or misrepresenting the facts.

tread VERY VERY CAREFULLY with these people. The founder, Ted Sampley, used to have a site called
Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry back in 2004. He'd just as soon shit on Democrats as well as Republikkkans.

As for finding the site, just google it. If you want to send money, I suggest you use a money order and use a fake name and fake address - something that cannot be traced back to you.

10. one other thing...that "smearing" word is not appropriate, because it implies

telling lies

you can't smear somebody with the truth, and that's all it takes with this guy. all one needs to do is keep linking him to Bush via his voting record, his reversal of stances, and his own words, the most damning of which (except the C word) are mostly on video

it should be easy for a campaign staff that has any common sense at all

they COULD have done it to Bush in 2000, but they were too chicken/unimaginative


he could have been shown to be the emtpy headed all hat no cattle buffoon that he is, but they were afraid to take that step
