Republicans attacking Democrats for not solving energy crisis, then attacking anything Dems propose

Republicans blocked passage of the 'Use it or Lose it' legislation, and Pelosi pounced: "Once again, Republicans voted with President Bush and Big Oil to keep domestic supply lower and prices higher," the house speaker commented.

that the GOP has had the last 8 years of uninterrupted power and are exclusively responsible for current conditions.

If they like what they see out the window, they can vote for McCain, who promises to sustain those conditions.

2. And I will say it again...

This is the major issue that Repubs plan on running on in November. Democrats need to devote just as much time countering their arguments as they devote to making them. Because the price of gasoline is a very, very hot issue.

5. NE Minnesota is very rural and we have a great bus system here

that would benefit. The areas that would not benefit are the ones who have not developed such systems yet. Building a bus also provides jobs that are in the USA and produce a useful product.
