Are there no good barbers in Virginia?

I haven't been to a barber since 1965 when I got in the chair and the barber said, "Kid, you don't want your hair this long, do you?" I never went to a barber again.

9. Barbers are great.

Licensing varies by state, but in Ohio there are separate "Barber" and "Beautician" licenses. I prefer barbers.


There are actually some very competent (and very attractive) female barbers, too. Forget about "Floyd the barber" from Mayberry...

11. There's an all Mexican one here in Tucson that I love

The barbers don't talk to you, they're quick and efficient, and they never screw up.

Normally I cut my own hair but when I've got an important client to meet or whatnot I go there. They give a pretty decent shave too. Nothing like a straight razor shave.

10. Yes, there are good barbers in Virginia. Looks like most of these

folks use stylists as opposed to barbers.
