It took my breath away. I still find it difficult to credit that the far-right knaves have had the bare-faced gall to claim Smith as their guru. Smith as in Smith and Wesson, yes. That I could certainly wear.

So, Adam Smith was agin cartels, the involvement of businessmen in government, or even in distant proximity to it, and in favour of taxation in proportion to income (Wow, even our post WWII Labour Party only charged 95%, and that, just on the top bracket of the income of the richest - though I trust they would have paid lesser proportions on their income below that).

If that's what they're going for, then that's what our rights are worth these days.

Since our rights are on the auction block maybe we just need to figure out a way to get in on the bidding so we can pay to keep them.

But, you're right, they should demand more for selling out the foundation of the constitution. They
