The Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash

I would recommend everyone who can find this dvd to watch it. I recently watched it and found it to be very interesting. It may not be the best documentary on the issue of oil, but it was very informative and very interesting. Throughout the film there was a discussion about peak oil and what will happen when that occurs and what should be done to prevent the worst from happening. There was also discussion on how oil affects American foreign policy. Anyone who has a subscription with netflix can watch or rent the dvd there. I imagine others could rent the dvd from their local movie rental place.

acre of land producing algae based biofuel for one year could propel a hybrid vehicle 370,000 miles or some such distance.

Not to mention environmental costs? Probably not.
