I've seen it as high as $4.15 and as low as $3.95 around the Detroit metro area the last couple of days.

Where in the Detroit metro area are you? I was born and raised in Lincoln Park before marrying a New Englander that I met at MSU. Michigan will always be "home" to me.

That's about as close to $4/gallon as you can get. I think I filled my Scion up at the end of May and will not have to again until July. I've been riding my bike a lot.

49. Yeah -
I noticed your post and was :wow:

I look every time I drive by - going and coming. One day it was one price when I went to the store, jumped 5 cents by the time I got back :eyes:

I hope you don't have to commute. ONE good thing about being unemployed (me) is that I don't have to actually go anywhere.

It sucks we're adapting to living like this.

50. dropping as I type this, 3.91 down from 3.99 yesterday,
wtf happened? Did more get discovered or did a pipeline become unclogged, or did that new show "oil whatever" lead to greater savings for the rest of us? Deregulation of the oil/energy industry will engender competition and lead to lower prices for all of us. :)
