Uh-huh...

"McCain Predicts 'Underdog' Win in Final 48 Hours"
MCCAIN PREDICTS 'UNDERDOG'
WIN IN FINAL 48 HOURS

by FOXNews.com Friday, June 27, 2008

John McCain predicted the general election race would come down to the buzzer Friday, declaring himself the underdog but quipping that he'd ride to victory in the last "48 hours."

The comment came as new polls show Barack Obama leading nationally and in several key swing states.

McCain may be hoping to reprise his nomination fight, in which he revived his flailing campaign just as primaries began.

2. Setting us up for an October Surpise...
The narrative worked in '04 with the Bin Laden tape but not in '06 with the Saddam court verdict.

4. Underdog? In which way?
If he means in IQ, OK, I can go for that.

But as far as advantages, McCain has ALL networks either right-tending or outright
right-wing leaning (if not blantantly active), ALL of Murdoch's print press working
for him, and a couple of billion dollars in oil/Halliburton/KBR/Blackwater/etc. money
just waiting for the right 527 to summon son-of-swiftboaters into being from the murky
depths of depravity, and plenty of Diebold and ESS machines out there just waiting to
be programmed by their Republican owners and operators.

The only thing the Democrats have going for them are a majority of the voters and
reality. As we have seen in the last two presidential elections, that is nowhere
near enough for victory.

We are the underdogs, it doesn't matter WHAT the polls say.

5. In the last 48 hours of the campaign McCain will win???????
How long does it take for the Dancing Supremes to select our next president? In Bush v. Gore, how long did it take for the Supremes to pull off their coupe?

You beat them because they were even more hilariously incompetent than you.

12. The world will fall off it's axis if he wins.
Seriously, if what is going on in my little corner of republican nirvana is any indication of what is happening elsewhere, McCain can't win unless the votes are stolen again.

16. Translation: They are going to steal it and seat McBush on the throne, and he knows it.
Edited on Sun Jun-29-08 09:17 AM by tom_paine
He KNOWS it makes no difference whther he gets beaten by 1% or trounced by 10%. He KNOWS that the Bush Lie Machine and the Toady Media will keep it close enough to steal.

And stolen it will be. He KNOWS.

Quite frankly, I will be amazed if Obama is allowed to ascend the imperial throne of Amerika. Or if he can defeat what is basically the entire media, especially TV from stem to stern and 24/7 advertising Bushie Memes and Bushie Frame and Bushie Lies, and come up with the 11%+ win he ACTUALLY needs in actual votes cast to win in a "squeaker" in terms of the counted votes and what the TV Infoganda shows the sheep.

19. The MEDIA revived his flailing campaign during the primaries. They declared
him essentially the winner of Iowa, despite coming in fourth, and Romney the loser, despite coming in second. They cheered him on relentlessly in New Hampshire and SC. The media built this man.
